I've got a 87' gti 16v. I'm interested in a carb conversion. Was wondering if anyone had some info or any resources on the matter.

you don't need 1200 dollars to convert your 16v to carb, I bought my mikunis 40 on Ebay for only 90 dollars and is running great and better, I used the lower intake manifold to make the new intake manifold, remove the ECU, get the MSD ignition box for around 110, the autotech shock therapy cables for 170, and you got your 16v carb conversion for only 370 dollars.
