      The car is a 2011 CC 2.0tsi

      Current mods are..

Stage 2+ file written for me by Garrett from giac
Usp 3" non resonated and catless downpipe
      Bsh race intake
      Awe turbo outlet pipe
      Neuspeed hi flow charge pipe
Other mods are non related (coils, engine & tranny mounts etc..)

I'm starting to educate myself on cooling.
I was interested in either wrapping or ceramic coating the intake piping (which goes all the way to the turbo outlet)
The t.o.p pipe, charge pipe etc....

Which parts would be most beneficial to insulate, and what is the best route to go?

I'm not ready to consider an intercooler yet so that is not in the conversation.

      Thanks for the help.

Dragging air in from a front scoop could be a good solution, CAI to your filter.

This intake is already mounted with filter right in the front ram air vent.. That shouldn't be an issue

Anything that will reduce heat soak on the air inlet pipework will do, ie gold reflective tape, pipe in a pipe with an air boundry but as said, an intercooler will be best as the discharged air from the compressor has been heated by the effect of the compressor on the incoming air.
