Both my B pillars are peeling really bad on my 06'. Has anyone else had this happen and is there a cheap place that you can buy new ones or a simple solution. I've read that some have covered with vinyl but not sure how well that holds up?

Didn't happen to mine...but my car has been in a garage for a while now. I'm going to end up having mine redone in carbon fiber.

I'm sure the vinyl would hold up fine.

Do you mean 'pealing' as in 'ringing like a bell'?

Or 'peeling' as in 'losing its surface'?

If it's the latter, search 'B-Pillar wrap'.

My 06 has a small section (2") that peeled off; both sides are looking pretty beat due to weathering (and I keep my car mostly in the garage).
The 'line' or depth between the top-surface and sub-surface in the area that peeled off is so negligible, that I do not believe it will be visible if the pillar is vinyl-wrapped.
I'm going to do the CF vinyl wrap, and might buy enough to do my interior trim as well.

One side of mine is peeling. The other looks like it will be soon.

3m Scotchprint black is a perfect match for the original. Be sure to scrape off any lose stuff, fill and sand. Any imperfections will show through.

Did mine almost a year ago and it is holding up well.

We need a pic by pic diy on how to remove this w/o breaking something... My passenger side has peeled off and I'd like to wrap it as well. Much cheaper than the $68 to replace them...

So is the vinyl not thick enough to hide imperfections? The area that peeled off the pillar on my A3 seems like it is thinner than a sheet of paper.

From what TP says, you prob. want to remove all the coating currently on the pillar before applying vinyl.

Using a heat gun or blow dryer will probably make the removal process easier... the same goes for application of the vinyl.... I'm gonna tackle this issue when the rain/snow stops as well.

    Is this the one?

Is a single 60x12" enough for both pillars?

    Thanks for everyone's help

I got the matte not the gloss. 60 x12 was more than enough.
