    Total repair cost $144 million dollars US




    granted there was a lot of damage to the plane but it does make you wonder about how repairable the newest generation of highly integrated airliners are.

    I know with older airliners there are many instances where the planes are damaged in a far more substantial manner and are repaired and placed back into service.

    Pretty amazing. Wouldn't insurance cover that cost, plus storage, so really not an issue?
