Hello all.

I've been browsing the forums for a while but never got a chance to formally introduce myself. So... everybody, I'm currently just a college student and modding on a budget. I wouldn't say I have extensive car knowledge at all as I have started modding not too long ago, but I do enjoy research.

I figured I would just combine this with my timeline so I can keep track of my progress on my current car before I get a new car in the near future.

Campanella White 2008 Jetta 2.5l

I don't need to post a stock picture of my car (don't think I have one) but stock 2.5 jettas are common.

I like to call this next section my "developmental period"... you'll see why..

First thing
-I just threw on R32 springs
-Plasti-dipped my OEM wheels
-Tinted my front headlights
-GLI UPPER grille swap with MKV badge on front
-Smoked Sidemarkers
,gave it an extreme minor drop .5" to be exact, but steering felt better. Like I said... my 'developmental' period haha.

First performance mod
-A.W.E Catback exhaust that I got from another member on here, can't remember the name.



-BSH Cold Air, again got from a member can't remember the name.

-BBS CVs 17" on Vredestein Quadtrac 225/45.

Then I took the headlight tints off

A few aesthetic mods that I did/had at this point

-Entire honeycomb grille set with open fogs
-Projector foglights
-Glossy black side pillars
-Aftermarket bulbs
-ECS projector headlight kit
-Painted Front calipers
-Painted res. caps/hood lining/box covers silver

Some Mods before WINTER

Got this ECS underdrive lightweight pulley in. It's a pretty decent mod considering its only about 130$ with increased throttle response, no harmonics issues either.



Dogbone broke so got polyurethane



AWE Catback Resonator Delete with a 2.5 S.S T304 Straight Pipe



-New Hankook Venus V2 ALL SEASON TIRES
-New Front Axle
-Raised Coils approximately 1 inch

TUNED @ 93500; Unitronic Stage 1+
Feels great, no rev hang; accessible torque at all ranges hopefully unitronic will release an SRI tune so I won't feel stupid buying unitronic over C2 or UM; however in the future I probably will get the UM tune.

Revival Bump / Update
