As posted before I replaced my transmission last Friday I haven't had a chance to test drive it per Needed to complete additional work to the car. If all goes right I should be test driving it this week end but in order to do so I have to fill transmission transmission fluid per I flushed it prior to install. I went to pick up fluid today and at both spots advised to use pentosin atf1. However I have a 5 speed manual transmission . I picked up 3 liters as recommended by the shop, but I'm still unsure of using it. I was under the impression I needed to use Gear oil. Please advise on proper transmission fluid.
