I'd check the valve clearance and then do a compression test.

Last fall the brings siezed In the generator on our bus and we continued driving without knowing until the engine quit. We fixed the gen and drove home and parked it for the winter. Now we have a misfire. We have spark on all wires and good plugs and think miss is on right bank.
Plz advise on next thing to check!
Thanks

Today I was able to determine all valves were very tight-I adjusted them and also found a burned spot on the points. After service it runs much better. Ran out of time so no compression test done. More info later.

Today I was able to replace all tune-up related items and run it until hot and it still has a miss. Once hot I removed the plugs and did a compression test. #1) 135,#2) 150, #3) 160, #4) 160.
The right side is low and is the misfiring cylinders. Also I noticed when the engine is revved quickly there is a louder sound like I've heard in the past when a head is loose but these head bolts are nice and snug. Is it possible to loose compression via the sealing ring between head and case or is there another place I may be loosing it?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
