    Not looking for a beater, but will take a rat.

    Not looking for hidden trouble. I understand they can be old but be honest.

    Would prefer automatic ( so the wife can drive it ) but will take a 5 spd.

    Don't want a rust bucket.

    Preferably in the DC MD VA NJ area.

    I have $1500 cash to spend for the right car..
