i dont think i am ready to step up to an HID setup, just wondering what a nice noticable upgrade people here like for fogs?
just a better bulb? or is there a better housing as well?

i like the look of yellow, i have nokyas in my GTI, with projector housings..
do they make a projector housing for the A3?

just looking to hear some options

so let's see it then. Just checked your build thread to no avail. Got that S3 bumper on yet? (and was that a CF splitter too that you got in Jan?)

To the best of my knowledge there are no projectors for ours... There are for gti, but the tabs are in tge exact oposite spot. Unless something came out recently.

you can get HID fogs without frying anything? I don't even want to risk aftermarket HIDs for my headlights since it's probable that the wiper motor will fry.

I have a 3.2...no issues w/ my wiper motor. I didn't even know there was an issue prior to installing them.

I can't promise you anything... but I have never, in my many years of trolling these forums, heard of a fog HID kit blowing anything. I ran one for a while but got tired of issues with it... mainly caused by suppliers. They sent me a kit with no error cancellers so the flicker blew out my ballast, they replaced the ballast and sent the cancellers but sent ones that were not sealed around the wires. Water got in there and rotted out the connector for both canceller and ballast... never again.

Same here. I had a DDM kit installed for about 11 months and never had a problem.

In regardless to new housings, no one has been a guinea pig for Sline to see if the GTI Euro projectors will fit. For those with premium bumper, the S3/A8 projectors will fit with major modification.

Premium should be H7 and Sline is H11:

    Reference my thread here:

    http://forums.fourtitude.com/showthr...premium-bumper

Doesn't mean they didn't change it from year to year.
