Trying to decide if I should order the TTRS with or without the wing. I read in one review that the view out the back was badly compromised by the fixed rear wing. Is this true? Anyone have pics?

    Thanks,
    Jason

Nonsense, it doesn't compromise visibility in the least.

Agree - doesn't affect rear vis in the slightest.

Having seen both types of cars (With/without wing), I think they look like they're "missing" something without it.

Not even slightly! The wing makes the RS!

You can see the top of the wing through the mirror but it's not in the way at all.

Your decision will mostly likely result from what you see as more aesthetically pleasing.

So far you have seen support for getting the fixed rear spoiler/wing.

I am surprised that this fixed rear spoiler got through the design process and final approval from Audi GmbH.

It looks like something attached as an after thought.

Note that with the wing delete option, you get the original speed (or manually) operated rear spoiler that is far more sophisticated and sleek.

Of course, this is just an alternative opinion. It is great to have choice!

I'm 5' 11" tall and can't even see the wing in the mirror. Nothing at all like a GT3RS where half the view to the rear is obscured.

Excellent... thanks for all the replies. Sounds like it's a non-issue.

The wing is a no brainer! In my opinion it makes the aesthetic of the car waayy more balanced and looks more aggressive.

    Visibility is just fine.

Get the wing. It looks good, and doesn't hamper visibility.

At a mere 5'3 I can tell u if I have no problem with visibility- none of you guys should have a problem. So you can safely order with or without. Wing looks better imo.
