One of my buddies used to own this car and he had it in pretty good shape, sitting pretty on some staggered Forgeline VR3P's. Well he sold the car a couple years ago and the new owner did a terrible job of keeping the car in quality shape. So, when the car went on the market recently I jumped on the opportunity to get the car and get it back to good shape...

Here is the car right now...

I have some lines on some BBS CH's for it. I am going to clean up the Forgelines and sell them. I would rather have some tires with more meat on them for my girlfriend. It needs a couple things like a grill, some window switches, and alot of tender love. I will be updating this thread over the next few weeks with the updates. For the time being, here is a gallery of some other pictures of the car...

So this weekend I did a couple things. I replaced the spark plugs which were horrible. They have probably been in the car since it was stock. I changed the master window switch because they one that was in there was broken. I replaced the middle air vents because the ones that were in there were broken and one was stuck shut. I cleaned the headlights because they were completely clouded. I clay barred the car then waxed it. I took the Texas Tech sticker off the back window. And I changed the oil for some fresh oil.

I have a couple more things to go on the car, just little things like trim pieces, cleaning the engine, cleaning the air filter. adjusting the suspension to the same height all the way around, adjusting the dampening to my girlfriends liking, getting new wheels/tires, and teaching her how to drive standard. But pretty soon it will be perfect and ready to go.

Here are some pictures of the work done on the car this weekend. Firs picture is of me giving the car a good rub down. Wash, clay bar, wash, then wax was the procedure....

Next day, I took the headlights off to clean them. You can't really tell but the headlights were really really fogged. They were much worse than they look in the pictures. I used the 3M Headlight Restoration kit from Autozone for like $30.00 and it was worth every penny. You hook it up to your drill and follow the directions and you're good to go. I put about 5 layers of Meguiars #26 Hi-Tech Yellow Liquid Wax to help protect in the future. I also got a grill in for the car so here is the completed work for that day....Also thrown in there is a picture of Juan from MJM Autohaus hassling with his Corrado. What a surprise....right?!!?

And finally, tonight I got out and took some pictures with some friends. Here is the finished result. Well, up to this point at least....For those interested in the rest of the pics, you can find them here --> http://www.strictlyea.com/forum/view...p?f=12&t=21974

So most recently I replaced all the coilpacks because a few of them were throwing some codes and misfiring. Rather than keep hunting them down one at a time I just replaced all of them. While I was at it, I changed out the pads to some Hawk HPS pads courtesy of MJM Autohaus.

So the next thing is suspension. She HHAATTTEEESSS the coilovers. So this week I am going to be getting some Neuspeed Sport springs with some Koni Orange's. That's the setup I have on my Scion xB and she loves it. So that's the next thing. Then wheels. I have to decide which wheels I want. I am for sure gonna get some 18's, just not sure which ones yet. Suggestions?
