i bought this 96 tahoe with a few little issues... it was a repo and it needed a radiator and a waterpump (and some different wheels) but ive always loved old blazers and these 2dr's are the last of them.

this is what it looked like when i first got it.

absolutely hated the wheels but thats all i had so i colormatched the centers to tone em down a bit.

then everything continued to break and go south and it ended up looking like this for a couple months..

then i finally buckeled down and did some work. rebuilt the trans, put a new rear in and lifted it up a bit (3in BL and some blocks and a t-bar crank)

    got some 35's

took it to mudfest and had some fun doing doughnuts and beating the sh*t out of the thing...

ended up demolishing another 10 bolt...

that was lucky number 3... no more 10 bolts and no more messing around. This time i got a 14 bolt semifloat rear out of a light duty 2500. should hold up a little better i hope.

Gunna be doing a straight axle swap here soon hopefully within the next couple months and thinking about goin crazy and cutting the roof off somthing like this:

So sad to see this being beaten on. I do like the SAS idea though with 1 tons. Are you regearing at all?

yeah its a truck... im having fun with it, and everything is fixable. It originally came with 3:42's and currently has 3:73's but i will be going lower when it gets the SAS.
