I've seen on their website its available, and doesn't it offer more gains because its getting more air?,. If anyone has it on their R's, was it worth it? I wanted to purchase one

My guess is they don't have any in the US right now. Last I checked, they were still waiting to get more in...

Honestly, it just looks kinda gimmicky to me which is why I didn't buy one. If one is good, two is better?

Larger filter surface area can't be bad.... not sure it worth the cost over the wintake but it is intresting to look at...
I think the flow capability of the filter would be the main difference b/t any of these intakes.
The trubo is going to force pretty much the same amount of air in no matter what intake you're using, making most of these "Which intake is best" threads pointless.
The main pressure drop will be going through the filter.

Have and it love it, including the way it looks. If I were to do again though I would just get the Forge Wintake because the second filter attaches behind the left headlight and is therefore unnecessary as it doesn't get a steady flow of air from outside like the main one does.

It's a personal choice, any intake "should' improve air flow over stock integrated system. If you like it buy it. Combine it with a TBE and fuel pump and you'll be very happy with the results.

From talking to them it's worth about 5-10 hp on a 2+ car. The other side is noise.
The reason so few people have them is that there weren't that many to begin with, they all sold out quickly and restocking is taking a while. They may be available now or you may have to wait a month or so.
Siliconrane has one on his and you can really hear the intake, apparently some people referred to it as the "Devil's vacuum".
I have the WINtake and am very happy with the results.

The wintake looks amazing and different, I mean we do have limited production cars so y not make the engine bay a lil different. The wintake would suck in twice as much air n make more pow wow. ECS has it under golf r.

My guess is the increased noise is the major turn off for most people. I don't even know how big of a noise discrepancy there is between the win and twin, but in the threads I have read, that seems to be the factor that tips the scales.

Even with a single intake, it will make the same amount of noise, the second one is there just to suck up the rest of the air, plus it flutters so good!. Who needs a bov if u have a wintake

This.
I want to see a video as well. Many people say the twintake is pretty loud so I am currently leaning more towards the wintake or Evoms intake. I've seen videos of the evoms and it sounds pretty nice.
I don't want to have something that makes the diverter valve extremely loud and not something that makes me look like a honda racer![]()

You can hear that with regular WINtake as well. It's really loud, but I like it.![]()
