So I may be getting an astronomical pay raise at work and I will be able to jump into one of these. I would be going with the S-Line package.

I'm not going to go test drive or inquire with a dealership until the raise actually happens, but has anyone seen the stance on this car? Is nice and low or something that still needs to come down. I'm looking for finger width between wheels and wheel wells.

Congrats to you sir. To begin with there's not many cars I know that come with the stance you want from the factory. Springs/struts or coilovers will be a must to get the desired ride height that you want. Also you forgot to specify are you purchasing brand new the B8 A4's or the older years?

Brand new. I bought my mkv used, and too many problems. LOL.

I was just reading on Wikipedia that the A4 Avant actually has a higher ground clearance, looks like imma have to get coils. Hopefully they make coils for 2012/2013.

when you are ready please contact me for a new one.

However i will tell you this... the 2013 A4 Avant no longer will exist and is being replaced by the 2013 A4 Allroad with a 1.5" higher ground clearance, sick fender flares, new front and rear bumpers and front grill. it is pretty much an a4 avant that we have now but with those added bits. you could fit crazy wheels under the flares but you would have to drop it.

but i sell new Audi's at Audi North Scottsdale, so when you are ready come see me Brian McCauley or PM me with any questions.

    Yup... it's terrible

Especially when color matched - paired with some agressive wheels and coilovers installed...

What he's trying to tell you is that is easy to paint as can be seen above so don't let that stop you from purchasing it. It's all part of the vehicle modification process and paint isn't a huge thing.

and im talking about what that 'nice gray plastic trim" can look like if a qualified paint shop does their work, you install wheels and some coil overs.

Well... you and I think painting is part of the deal but some people consider "painting" as spray painting badges and tail lights.

Sherman Williams does spray paint in a can, but I don't know how much I'd trust it. Exterior paints are bang on though.

My knowledge of spray painting is the equivalent of finding the g spot in your local parking garage.

I'm not even sure where to begin with that one :d point blank consider the all road. With some very minimal modification IE taking off the flares and sending them down to a paint shop you can have the car you want and make it look the way you want.

I would only be putting coilovers on the Audi. I will keep it stock besides that. I have my GTI for the weekend warrior.

I'm not going to lie, that's a nice looking "all road". It's got me wanting more pics.

spray paint is for marking utility pipes in the ground and there's no excuse to use it on most parts of a car.

    04-29-2012 01:52 PM #18
no the air suspension will not be on the new allroad. it was too problematic and expensive on the last allroad.

these will be normal suspension just with a taller higher vs. a normal avant.

but if you want any Audi LET ME KNOW do not go anywhere else. i've hooked up other 'taxers in the past and provide a great experience for your purchase.
