body work questions for a nuub

I'm doing some body work for the first time. I have a few blemishes in the car
one is in the driver door behind the mirror its a crease like something thin hit it or like something dropped on it there. and then the other side has some rust spots i'm removing but the metal is deformed a little from something its just bumpy hard to describe but it has valleys i need to fill

anyway since these are not just dungs what do i use to fill them i'm not looking for showroom here or i would replace the door which i might do later. i'm just painting the car flat black and want it not to be complete crap.

I heard never use bondo ok fine there are so many other brands and types. I heard something about bondo with glass i dunno some are better for light dings other for heavy. I would rather not have to use 3-4 types of fillers also where can i find the filler you recommend.

Any body filler will outlive the car if applied to a properly prepared surface
and is kept sealed up away from the elements. That includes "Bondo" brand.
Most do prefer other brands, but mainly because of workability.
I like "Rage Extreme" because it's easier sanding. But any will actually work.
For small dings you may want a spot putty, not a lacquer based one that relies on drying but
a spot putty that uses a hardener & chemically cures.
I like several of them including "Metalglaze" &"Iceing"
Those putties are real thin and runny and are for filling scratches & pin holes
and used for a final skim coat over fillers. they're perfect for small dings.
And they sand easier than regular body fillers. Great for a final coat.
But you do have to prime over them like regular body fillers before paint.

i can find bondo in any auto parts store. what about the others.
I also heard to much hardener will make it not last long either
