I just purchased a CPO 09 JSW which I have wanted ever since they came out. Anyways the reason I am posting is that since we have purchased the car last Sunday no heat or warm air will come out unless it is set to 80 / full heat. I have tried it with the AC off and still the same issue. Then on Wednesday when I took it to the dealer it worked perfectly with no issues and had warm to hot air like it should. The dealer looked at it and said it was a bad resistor and replaced it.

It worked all day Wednesday with no issues. Then on Thursday first thing it would not work and thru out the day I would drive the car it would not work unless on 80 / full heat. So this morning I took it to the dealer again and of course this morning it's been working perfectly. They said they would look at it but if they can't duplicate it there is nothing they can do.

I've done some searching but haven't found anything similar in the forums. Has anyone out there ran into this problem before?

So I just got back from the dealer. After they could not duplicate it I picked up the car and was headed back to work when it started doing it again so I turned around and left it running and got the service tech and check in guy who finally saw it or should I say felt what it was doing. With no a/c on and having the heat almost at 80 / full heat it would just blow cool air. The tech told me they would need me to bring it back on Monday in the morning when they can call VW Tech Line because they could not find anything with their diag tools.

I've read a few places that it could be the temperature regulating door motor but they said it passed all tests. Any Ideas?

What are you doing running the heater? I was watching the Wells Fargo Championship yesterday on The Golf Channel, and they said it was 90 degrees in Charlotte.
