First this is for sanctioned racing on a closed track, I DO NOT STREET RACE!! So I do a bit of auto x and will be getting into road racing, and maybe a drag run or two just to see what I can do. I'm not running slicks, I'll be purchasing the BFGoodrich g-Force soon. So my question at what RPM do you guys launch? I know I need a LSD and thats on the list...when I get there.

with drag radials... rev to about 4k and pre-load the drivetrain (put in gear and hold the ebrake up, press the button so it doesnt lock up) release the clutch a little till the car starts to move... drop the clutch?floor the gas when the 3rd yellow light lights up on the tree... have fun

I have a set of those Mickeys mounted on some old steelies, hopefully will run them for the first time this weekend at the strip if the weather holds out although I do not plan to do burnouts or much of any type of hard launch due to new clutch.... but I was going to say that I think they changed the name to ET street II or street 2 's to get the 205 50 15 size...

If you are running an open diff at the strip I would avoid the waterbox and not do a burnout, preload the drivetrain but just let the clutch out normally with the revs at about 3k at the most, and if you start getting wheel hop GET OUT of the throttle or you will start to break things.

3k and slip the clutch a lot. Adjust technique as needed.
