1.8L 20 valve Turbocharged 4 cylinder engine
92,000 Miles
Heated front seats
Moonroof
Power windows and locks
Air Conditioning works, could be colder with a can of freon
This Passat has been involved in a front end collision and comes with a Salvage rebuildable title. The main damage is to the front bumper, grille, hood, and RF fender. The driver and passenger airbags have been deployed, these can be found on ebay for less than $100 a set. The RF steel wheel has bends on the outer lip as pictured (spare wheel ok). The radio is missing. It starts easily, runs and drives well (no check engine light), I have driven it about 250 miles recently with no break-downs.
On the certificate where the damage is checked for what was affected/needs to be repaired only "body" is marked, "air bags" is not.
$1400
Great car for a swap, too. No immobilizer
Located in Buffalo, NY. Delivery is available within 400 miles for $.85 a mile.

btw for you New York Staters: the mv-50 (salvage title document) doesn't have anything but "body" checked under "damaged."
Airbags are only $70 for the pair on ebay!

to pass through inspection in ny you will have to have brand new airbags purchased from a dealer with receipts... that's why they totalled it. GL with the sale though, coz not all states are nuts, you can register it with used bags in other states and then re-register it in ny...

This is true. However on the mv907a for this Passat (the NY salvage document) they didn't check off "air-bags" on the back of the document, there is nothing alluding to the airbags needing replacement.
I am negotiable slightly, however that is too low. Thank you for your offer

Needs quite some work, no way to tell the real damage until you lift her up.

Still for sale.
don't forget, I have a truck and trailer and can deliver within 400 miles for $0.95 per mile.
I can also drive it wherever as long as you can give me a ride back. I've taken it on a few hundred mile road trip without incident.
