clean engine bay question

im still new to the vdub scene and i have seen pictures of engine bays clean as hell like nothing in there except the engine, where do you put everything else like the engine and all that stuff is it the trunk and if so how do you run it all the way back there, i really dig the look and want to do that, any help would be greatful!

I think PSU has a MKV thread about a clean engine bay, that might help a little bit. I also think the MKIV forum has a cleaning up your engine bay thread. Check Jegs or Summit for a Battery relocation kit to install battery in the trunk. I thought I saw someone who went mega small battery and built brackets for the battery under the frame rail. From the little, very little, I've read it seems like people will buy a second wire harness and wire by wire extend each wire in order to run a longer path. It is a nice clean look. Have seen some Vr6 bays that were so clean, made the motor look tiny in the bay.

You can always start with a SAI delete. Keep in mind once you start to clean up the bay then you'll want to polish or paint everything.
