I'm disappointed in the forum for letting this thread get to 2 pages with no bashing comments. More pictures coming today of last nights progress along with the new project that got towed over yesterday.

Donor car is a 1988 Audi 90 quattro - "B3" chassis if you are familiar. It uses a simple subframe that mounts the diff and lower control arms, and has struts with upper strut bushings. Should go in a lot easier than the b5 a4 rear end that I mounted into my black car...that had upper and lower control arms

Throw an Audi engineer down a hole with a ladder and he will fashion a shovel from it and tunnel his way out

    Cool project OP.

I have a question for you as well. Are you the guy who built a mid-engined GTI, then swapped the engine back to the front, and whose mom called Car Talk to ask Click & Clack if your mid engined VW was safe to drive, and they said, "Sounds like he knows what he's doing, so sure, why not?"

    Just curious.
