Need Transmission Help!!!

i just got a 05 Audi A4 S Line Quattro and i need to know if anyone can help me with this to figure out whats wrong with it, its an auto trans and i put it in D and R but it takes high rpms to make it move if it moves at all, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt at all. I put it on the VCDS and its not throwing any tranny codes so idk if somethings wrong with the trans. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would drop the tranny pan...see what the fluid situation was looking like, change the filter and gasket. Could throw in a little LubeGaurd...see if that helps. Won’t cost too much and you could eliminate that part of the problem. I would then start looking at sensors. If not, go in a totally different direction...check for engine sludge...maybe it’s the engine and not the tranny. Just a thought.
