I am trying to decide on what to do with my car. I want something that is going to lower the car (not slam) and tighten the ride without sacrificing the ride quality and comfort.
I was reading into TLud's thread about the Euro R springs and the only downside of that it seems is that the springs only lower the car .5"
What other alternatives would you guys suggest that are in that same price range. I would appreciate pictures if you guys have them as well.
If you can tell me how they ride that would be a huge help too. Thanks![]()

I was in the same position as you and decided to go Tlud's route. Since the R is my daily driving I don't want to compromise the ride too much and with coils the car will become stiffer so for daily driving it might become a bit annoying after a while. The euro springs will the do the job the I need![]()

Must say, I love that look. Same color as mine, too. I'm so conflicted on what to do with the suspension after reading so much here about the pros and cons. I want to do 19" wheels, so don't know if these springs would complicate that...? I'm inclined to go the TLud set up with the OEM Euro springs, but the lower look is so tempting.

I think stock is the best route I'm not sure if you'd notice the euro springs enough to justify the cost? But I do know that any aftermarket spring you use you will be sacrificing ride quality. I may go with Euro springs because I will likely go 19' Taladega's but for now stock suits me fine![]()

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. It seems like many of you are in the same predicament as I am in. I must say that the APR setup looks nice. I guess it matters if I am going to go with 18's or 19's. The R springs are nice and not too expensive, but it seems that I would need to go with 19's in order to even make it noticeable.
What are the prices for some of the other options such as h&r, Neuspeed, VMR, Apr? Also, what is the main difference in swapping out just the springs as opposed to the coilovers or the entire setup. I am guessing if I just want to keep it similar to stock ride quality just swapping the springs will be the best bet? Thanks for all the help![]()

I am still thinking about just getting lowering springs for now!But I haven't found any good info or pics of how low they really lower the car.Neuspeed race?H&R?Maybe I should just save up for V3's....So confused

I went with the KW V1s. Picked them up on a pretty good deal from HPA.
I went with them because I'm not tracking, but I will be running 245 rubber on my CCWs and I want the height adjustably so that I can set them up perfectly without having to worry about rubbing, etc. Might do a small pull/roll to get the car a tad lower, but that's about it. Nothing too serious or crazy![]()
