Good cheap used buy: The Sly Collection (PS3).

Just picked this up for under 25 bucks (Gamestop).






I never played the Sly Cooper games before- and wow, this is really a blast (from the fun witty early 3d platformer) past.
It has a Ratchet and Clank feel.

Maybe I was the only one that didn't play the Sly Cooper games back then..

Anyway- I also picked up Uncharted 3 and downloaded the free for the weekend MW3 multi-player..

And I have enjoyed the Sly Cooper game much more... with Uncharted 3 a close second.
MW3.. yawn. Feels just like MW2.

Damn... damn.. damn.. the final boss battle in the Thievius Raccoonus is tough.
And if you die anywhere during a boss battle, you have to start the battle over from the start.
And guess what- the third part is a very tricky platforming section with lots of surprise you be dead parts.

Glad to see you're enjoying it. I thought the final boss in the original was more tedious than hard for that very reason. But yeah, fun game. First was my favorite, the second was alright and never bothered playing the third.

I'm looking forward to the new one that's coming out. Hopefully, more news about it will pop up at E3.

The 2nd one doesn't have as good a story/writing as the first.
But the stealth stuff is cool (MGS style).
Not sure I like the more open level designs though.
Hunting for bottles gets tedious.
