    Delivery Tracking of an inbound RS

    Hey all,

    couple weeks before my beast arrives, Canadian order so it might in Halifax already.... My dealer doesnt seem to have more info than "couple weeks" so I thought I would ask if any of you can linky something for me. ( I searched but only found really old posts)

    For those interested, it will be Sepang Blue, and it will be a TTRS PLUS clone, TTRS PLUS grill with a custom "Aluminum Pack" treatment.....

    I've figured out that my 2012 tt rs is in the English Channel now. This is kinda straight forward if you know the approximate delivery and port date (and port destination) of your vehicle ...A link to a link. http://forums.quattroworld.com/tt2/msgs/19034.phtml

    Actually it's not as straight forward as you may think. For security reasons they can't tell you exactly the ship name your car is on. The only thing you can do is take your best guess based off of *expected* delivery dates. I was going crazy tracking, investigating, asking my dealer. What a wait but well worth it!

    I do hear mostly of people being pleasantly surprised that their car shows up (weeks even) early. I wouldn't mind that one bit, though. Tracking the "suspected" ship is kinda fun and now it looks like the Nippon Highway is in the Celtic Sea (with my car, I hope) It just left Emden a couple of days ago which is consistent with the estimated dates from my dealer. We'll see.....

    Yes, I was told ato expect it May 24th, but apparently it might be here by the 12th...

    It will be an easy wait actually, I have to study and review for sim recurrency next week and finish on the 12th. Easy to forget about the car when your job is on the line!

    got a vin number, ending in 1477, oldest number so far on the registry is 0085.
