    whats up guys, just bought my first VW!

    whats goin on guys, just got my first dub and im super happy. I picked up a bagged 337, Its beautiful. Im from suffolk long island and wanted to know what are the best spots to meet up with other people from the forum?

    thanks guys, you probably have seen it either on the forums or on LI. Its a bagged 337 roof painted black, black mirrors, boser hood. I don't have any pictures yet, of course the day I go to get the car is the only day it decides to pour I plan on spending all day tomorrow cleaning her up and throwing down some fresh wax. Also looking into making the compressor and tank a little nicer on the eyes...if anyone has any cool ideas I could do with this or have pics of their set ups lets see what ya got!

    edit: also the airbag light is on, will the vag com be able to read an airbag code? or do I really have to go to a dealership?

    is that the one that was on craigslist in Islip?

    airbag light could be on because it has the r32 steering wheel. vagcom can clear the code, if it is wired up properly, the light will go away once cleared

    yupp thats the one I got, thanks for the help...now I just need to find someone local that has the reader that can clear it for me...

    and to shawnockey14 I live in Deer Park, I heard about that meet on wednesdays...when I bought my car there was an eemilitia sticker on it so I checked it out...if the weathers nice tomorrow Im gonna swing by and see whats up...the guy I bought the car from told me about it and said there was a pretty nice turn out

    I have a vagcom and I'm just a couple of minutes away in Huntington if you need a hand. Someone in EEM has a Westwood fender roller that they rent out. I used it about a year ago.
