Hell, As the topic states. I have 2 brand new Golf R joint the family, picked them up April 6th. I've notice a couple spots on the car after the first wash and they need to be addressed before I apply sealant. My main concern is they I need help choosing a polish with enough cleaners to remove the imperfections. I never owned a DA polisher before I've been using it to practice on some older cars to get a feel for movement etc...

I have the following tool to do the job:
Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher
Lake Country CCS 5.5" Smart Pads. Orange, white and red w/backing plate

Few product that I have, maybe someone car make recommendation on which polish to use.

I will use the Sealant here

Would 205 be ok on brand new factory paint?

Now the minor surface paint defects:

The corner areas seem smugged from the wrap, that's where most of my work is as you'll see in the pic's

This is some good stuff Spray on for about 30 -45 seconds then bug/tar melt right off. They need to improve the trigger so the gel spreads more evenly

Always try least agressive first .. try the Opt . polish on a white pad .. 2 or 3 passes ... if no luck step up tp yjr Compound on an orange pad.
