So. I wated till the last day to file my taxes, so now i get to go shoping.. and im thinking.
aem meth kit, egay TIP, timming belt kit n tierods
Im wondering is meth even guna be worth it 400 for ths full kit
Ko4 giac ko4 tune, tbe 2.5" intake with heat sheild and ducting to it, mbc 18 psi 20spike, wide band few other mods. Is water meth guna be worth it for this set up.. if i gain 20hp i will be thrild. I am thinking bc i run rich atm under boost. Turn down the fuel psi till im sittin st like. 13:1 afr and run meth. That do u think. Ajyone who has experience. I know turning dosn fuel psi is no way to tune for this but its already too rich 10s. Maybe 11 and the end of the gear. Meth would start at idk 8psi and hit full spray at 12-15psi. Good idea or not?
also my subaru friend brough up .opensource tunes to me. Do i have ANY options for tunning my self well a reputable subi. And dsm guy tune. Or modify my giac tune? Thanks guys

Any VWs made after 92 are usually only good for drive train donors.

I Have lookd into devils own and snow proformance. The aem one has all the bells and whistles. Like built in map sencor, progressave controler low fluid level led, an led that comes on when its spraying. For what u get it seems to be the best deal out there. The devils own kit that has all tye stuff aem dose was like 550 i think. And ok sweet i will deffetly pick this up. Pluss its kiinda kool to have the parts in the car..

with the kind of kit you're talking about, yeah i agree with lazer. those type kits are suited for BT cars.
if you're wanting to spend 550/600 bucks i would get a descent intercooler setup. if you have money left over work on the mounts i.e. engine/tranny/rear diff mount..upgardes.

I do plan on going bt over the winter, probably just a 30r stock motor. Unless i land this job i soposadly am geting hired for. Then 2.0build anyways. I just want some sort of power. My current set up imlresses me everytime i hammer it. I pulld on a 2010+ modded wrx or sti. Had alot of sti parts. But i dont know forshure. The p.o. of my ecu had clios of him pulling on s4s. But even if i gaind a lil bit i would be happy also im geting a tip. I hear they make power a lil sooner but nothing signifigant. I have a greddy fmic already..... a 1170+,tax fmic(, ps i bought a full kit brand new for my civic for 2k) greddy turbo kit pluss matcing fmic like 5700$ set up.
But i am just wondering if. There will be any gains with meth. Like the way 18 psi feels vs 15 psi. I would he thrilld
Also im stsrting to collect parts for bt set up so later on meth will do alot for me.

well if you're saving up and gathering for a BT don't waist your money on meth...yet. build your foundation. then If you feel you need to go meth then do it. but if you're going to run a 30r on a stock motor, which means you're going to run at a limited boost setting, you will not need meth. hell! if that's the case in your scenario buy a set of rods and run full boost!!it will more than 20hp I can asure you.

No way in hell a K04 car pulled on a modded WRX. Maybe if the WRX had some serious issues and the driver had no idea how to drive.

Even stock it would pull on a K04 1.8t. WRX at 260chp and the B5 at around 220chp. The Rex also weighs less.

Well the guy i got the ecu from has vids of pulling on s4s. So idk im also on bout 20psi. Modded wrx aint much. I cant confirm if it is even a giac tune, so maybe its some custom flash. In 1st gear. Not launching it will make the tires squeel bout half the time. Maybe in this money im spending on meth, i will throw it on a dyno, and see what kinda power it makes. The hot side of my turbo is modifyed slightly so i dont know. I would like to race a stock sti and see where i hang. The. Power curve is crazy on my set up. Like. 30-70 its freekish fast but most ppl stop racing at like, 50-60 and i pull on them befor they even get in their power band. From a dig in a 1/4 mile i know a sti will smash me. But 30roles. I have pulld on cars that have much faster quarter mile times.
Maybe its kinda cheal to say i pulld on them up to, top of 3rd. I kill 2010gti turbo by like 4 cars 30-70. Eh prob more like.. 1.5/2 n thoes r mid 14 second cars.
