We live in the an unincorporated area and as such have to pay a private collection service

we have curbside recycling but i ****ing hate it. Every tuesday morning the neighbors know how much i drank the past week because beer bottles are so ****ing loud We easily have the loudest recycling load on the entire block

i don't always drink beer. but when i do...it's too loud to recycle.

Wish I could of done that with the old bath tub from my house. Stamp was 1949 and it was so heavy it broke bits off the concrete front steps of the house when we were carrying it out.

Mine was a 1946 cast iron Kohler. All it takes is a well place whack in the lower corner and you can hole it. Then keep beating the **** out of it until it is in a pile and you, your bathroom and your dog are covered in fine porcelain slivers that are razor sharp. Open a window and throw it all out.

I easily save 3 bags of garbage a week from going to the landfill.

If you have waste removal, you pay for it. Do you think the trash fairy picks it up? If you don't get a bill, it's part of one of your other taxes or fees.

I think we recycle more than we throw out. Our bin is always chock-full for its bi-weekly curbside pickup, but the trash bin usually has one 13 gallon bag of trash and some litterbox / dog poo bags. Of course, it's just my wife and me and our four (!) animals. In my city the bins are the same size.

If you have waste removal, you pay for it. Do you think the trash fairy picks it up?
