    Is their a factory tint on the golf R? THe windows are clear but have a glare to them almost a light factory tint?

    No tint at all, unless the dealer installed it and tacked it on the price of the car.

    Almost all factory glass has a very slight tint to it. You'll see film like Pinnacle take that in to account by saying their film is 35% but in actuality it's 38%. Any place that installs tint should be able to tell you what your windows are before and after.
