in b3 fogs, are they really necessary to run HID's? My particular HID kit (DDM) has plastic bases for the bulbs, so they can't make that much heat, can they?

Sigh. Even OEM bulbs will melt the plastic housings in the B3 fogs.

Best thing you can do to your B3 fogs.

    P.S. Don't go above 4000k.

yea I had no idea even stock bulbs would melt them. I've visit your site often for info, that page being one of those a lot recently. Whoever modded mine did a shi*ty job and the housings and projectors fell out, along with bulbs. So I basically need a whole new set of B3 fogs and MKIII fogs... and DDMs kits have gone down in quality over the years, you'll never quite know what color bulb you'll get no matter how what you order. They used to be awesome... but since the prices haven't ever changed I can't really complain too much.
