Thread: Team Lugtronic does it again side by side 9's, Todd 9.47 vs Tim 9.72

    I personally saw the blue gti run at cecil and I believe he ran a 9.78 or a 9.87,,, if im not mistaken he beat a vette that was running nitrous.... It was great!!! I was one of the few supporting vw fans and the announcer was talking sh!t on all dubs, ( its normal for down there)..... The vette false started and the gti still beat him I believe the vette ran a 10.63 (I think).... It was just priceless to see all the muscle people talk sh!t on cars they dont even know, and along with some of the honda guys down there.

    Sorry for not the exact numbers for his run, little to much after I saw him womp the competition!

    The night was priceless, it was awesome to personally watch the gti run and shut EVERYONE up!!!

    black one is 700+WHP 20v 1.8T and the blue one is a stock block VR6T with 700+whp (IIRC the whp, i know its a stock block).

    both cars running Lugtronic and tuned by Kevin "lugnuts" Black.

    its still a 1.8 with a presicion 67/68 ball bearing. psi im not sure.

    Nice, can't wait to finish my 2L stoker 62/62 BB in the MK2. With time and practice hopefully I can break into the 9's. Guys like Todd and Tim are just inspiration!
