Drove to a favorite Vietnamese restaurant which gets the car some good highway time. While there I ran into a large celebration of the fall of Saigon.

I had a new valve body installed on my Passat yesterday. The car shifts so smoothly now, I can't believe I waited this long to have it changed.

Absolutely nothing. Felt like saving some gas and rode my bike to work today since it was nice out.

Sounds yummy!
Today i confirmed that my sentra no longer has a small headgasket leak. Now, it's BLOWN and i need a new daily ASAP. My first nissan experience turned to be quite unsatisfactory in terms of reliability. There's a beige camry on CL that looks appealing.

On the Evo:
Put my strut bar back on, after having it off to change the throttle body shaft seals, install an Ingall's Engine Torque dampener and changed my lugnuts out.

brought the wife's 99 civic to get an inspection sticker: failed for upper ball joint and an exhaust leak. I replaced the balljoint/control arm the exhaust will have to wait.

I had a good car day, spent most of the morning in my garage doing the following:
- changed the oil in the Camaro and Scirocco
- soldered new h4 connectors on the Camaro for the h4 conversion I did this winter
- checked the Camaro over before it goes in for it's annual inspection this week
- washed the Camaro and detailed the engine bay
The rest of the afternoon I smoked two racks of ribs and watched the Richmond race I had pvr'd and to my delight Kyle won.
Great day overall, depending on the wife's mood, it may be a good evening too![]()

Removed the winter wheels/tires and put the all-seasons back on. Discovered both sets have one good season left on the, before they hit the first set of warning bars.
Took it to the pay/spray and washed it, turned out great.
Car related... my dad came over and we installed my garage door opener!![]()

Inspected the car for my vir event next weekend:
Checked brakes/rotors
Checked oil/fluids etc...
Put the slicks on, checked tire pressure
Made sure the five point racing harness is ready to go (drivers/passenger).
...and put my number on the car

Nothing. It's been sitting in the garage since yesterday...
...but yesterday I finally replaced that rusted fender with a shiny new one. Just in time for me to notice a tiny rust bubble on the passenger door.![]()
