I'm thinking of towing my car all the way from NY to sowo. Has anyone ever rented a vehicle with a trailor to tow an MKV? It's about 850 miles from where I live and I'd like to know which company is the cheapest and has the best trailers with ramps to be used with a low static car.

Hmm I'm pretty sure it will be really expensive unless you find somewhere for really really cheap..

Why would you ever tow a car that is perfectly capable of driving under its own power?

My father owned a truck and did car hauling from florida to NY/CT. It was roughly 500-600 per small vehicle. You're probably better off finding a enclosed trailer for the transport.

Too fast for roads. Needs to be towed. I will rent you my GLI and a trailer to tow it.

Seriously, U-Haul is your best bet. Actually no...driving it is your best bet.

If you want to tow it, you might as well not even go....someone could breath on it wrong.

    Or bugs.

U-Haul doesn't rent enclosed car trailers, correct?

My good friend drove his MkII 8V, slammed on FKs, loud Borla exhaust, no AC, to H2O and back from Florida in one weekend. Don't be a pansy and drive your car. Kthx.

No trophy, but I guess seeing a Supra in a house was worth it.
