So I was wondering how much I should expect to pay for this scratch in my car? Not sure if it makes a difference; but it's a 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP. I've never had to get body work done before, so I was hoping you guys could give me a good idea. Thanks.
Also it's on the rear drivers side passenger door.

a decent amount unfortunately. its in a spot and is a color that requires blending into the quarter panel as well as the rocker/side skirt. without actually entering all the info into the computer to pull up actual labor hours its a hard guess.

just buy a one stag paint, take a tooth pick and fill it. It probably wont rust for a long time and wont look that bad

If it were my car I would just touch it up. However it my friends 'baby' that he hardly drives, puts on jack stands in the winter in heated storage and babies the heck out of. So I really have no choice but to get it done professionally. I was just wondering that if it would be better to pay out of my pocket or make an insurance clam of it would be a tone more than my deductible($250).

touch up is ur best bet... that far back the quarter panel should be blended. at a shop ur looking at 600 at least. touch up or insurance claim is ur best bet
