    I got an ECU from a 01 tt quattro... unitronic stage 1+ on it (since stage 2 is not available for this year).. Ill let it go if we trade it for your ecu and cash on your side... (I now have maestro 7).

    I'll consider it. I was really looking for stage 2 since I just purchased a new exhaust and DP. Can you upgrade the 1+ to 2 or was the tune purchased by someone else?

    The tune was purchased by me. Anyway you might want to check with a unitronic dealer but mine told me that for this year (2001 and before) the most you can go on stock turbo is stage 1 plus. Cheers.

    That's wierd, I've never heard anything like that. The Unitronic site doesn't show any limitations for that year.

    It's AWP and wideband. What could be the problem? Stage 2 doesn't require a different turbo. How long ago did you hear this?

    About 8 months ago that we mod the car... and I remembering telling my dealer "I see it on your webpage the stage 2, why can't I have it?"

    But now you mention it, maybe its because your '01 FWD is wideband and my '01 QUATTRO is narrowband... thats funny, the more expensive car has a more primary ecu.

    Yeah, Uni should list what engine codes they offer stage 2 for and not just "00-06 TT".
