How soon can I wet sand after spraying clear coat? I used a rattle can and need to even out the gloss where over spray resulted.

i like to wait at least 24hrs at 60-70 degrees with my faster production clears. you can do it sooner but i usually find wetsand scratches re-appear after sitting in the sun from the clear still shrinking back. thats why i like to wait as well as leave the car/part in the sun as much as possible first.

Thanks.. I'll finish up tomorrow then. I was going to use 1000 then 1500 and finally buff out with McGuiers Scratch X.

I would just use 2000. Remember you have less mil thickness because of the spray can applicator
