    Who's with me here?

What was your opinion on diamond eyes? How did this album compare to Saturday night wrists? Or the self titled album?

And when is Eros gonna come out!?

Diamond Eyes was evil in that oh so good way... really raw, really loud, and really musically interesting ... Felt more like a 'throwback' to their earlier stuff than anything else they've done these past few years.... with a dash of the team sleep weirdness thrown in to boot.

Honestly, I think Adrenaline still is, and probably will always be their best album. But don't we all say 'I prefer their earlier stuff' about at least one band we love??

Adrenaline was a good aggressive album, but I would say around the fur was their hardest stuff. The self titled was the heaviest. But I seen that diamond eyes was a mixture between all of the albums. I only like a few songs on that cd. Team sleep is ok. I just hope the new one with chi is gonna be hard like Saturday night wrists. That cd was bomb

Saturday Night Wrists will always be my favorite. It gets a listen at least once a week to this day.

I'll be on the "I prefer their early stuff" bandwagon, but I do very much enjoy Diamond Eyes. It's a diverse album that really showcases their collective talent.

I'm willing to bet Eros will never come out.

my friend showed me hexagram during a hard time in my life a year or so ago. While I am not a fan of the "worship, lies lies" riff, I love the whole intro chord progression. Its depressing yet beautiful at the same time, and when I listen to it, it reminds me of past hard times and clears my mind to avoid future bs.

I do like minerva too, and a couple others. Very talented band

a modern rock radio station shouldn't matter.

Don't remember the last time I've gone to any bands website randomly . Without a radio station to announce news I'm oblivious, luckily though twitter helps a lot.

Deftones Diamond Eyes is okay, although I'm a bigger Around the Fur, White Pony, and Saturday Night Wrist fan (great album name btw). I also like a few Team Sleep songs (great band name).

Totally agree about modern rock radio stations. Here in Chicago we lost an iconic rock station, Q101, last summer and it's been hard keeping up with new songs/albums/bands and concerts without it.

I really like Diamond Eyes, but my favorite is either Around the Fur or White Pony. I think that those 2 albums are their best, but at the end of the day all their albums have been really good. Deftones are one of those bands that even though their music changes, they always sounds like the Deftones.

Adrenaline for me was a no brainer, it was new and different and perfect. Around the fur was probably my favorite sophomore album ever by anyone. After that everything has taken me some time to fall in love with, but fall in love with all of them I did. They are my deserted island band.

i love diamond eyes. The only thing i don't like is that album and i believe the previous two albums are played with an 8 string guitar. I do not own an 8 string and detuning down to attempt to play those songs is futile.

Alas, i am stuck playing the first few albums on my 6 string.

    diamond eyes totally rocks though

Not that their other albums aren't any good, but Adrenaline is their best by a mile.

I've loved every Deftones album, each in a slightly different way. They're ****ing great at going a slightly different direction with each album but not straying too far from what they're good at.
Haven't listened to the new one yet though but I will be soon.
