I was wondering if it would be worth my time to change my headers on my 2000 vr6? My exhaust is completely stock and i want to do something to it, but i don't want it to be obnoxious loud. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had a thrush cherry bomb on it, but then i got into an accident, and the body shop i took my car to put a brand new suitcase on it.

Minimal, but it makes it sound better. Most headers don't make power on VRs. Porting the stock manifolds is usually the best route to go.

Nobody would google an HTTP address to a thread. It's funny to use that when you want somebody to google "how does a turbo work" when they come on here asking that, for example...
OP, magnaflow is a great sounding muffler on this car. Your budget and goals will determine what kind of exhaust you want. Even a full exhaust won't net you awesome power. 10-15 maybe after a tune and intake. I'm running a mandrel bending solutions 3" exhaust with a high flow cat and a muffler. It's loud, but not obnoxious. Unless you are WOT at high RPM. But if you want to be civil you can be.
Naturally aspirated, you will spend thousands for a couple horsepower. Forced induction is by far the cheapest way to get good power.
