    Hello again all,

Im searching for the title listed above...

I want to incorperate as much OEM stuff on my car as possible and I need a factory MAF in the 4in range.

Any links would be greatly appliciated and followed up with feedback here on this thread.

The main goal is OEM look and feel, OEM air flow straightener, OEM air filter, etc.

    Thanks in advance.

I think the Audi A8 MAF is what you're looking for. I also did a couple searches on "vw 100mm MAF" and there's quite a few other solutions out there too.

*EDIT* Appears the A8 MAF is 3.5", and 4" MAFs are all custom aluminum joints. Only other info I found is from TBT-Synchro and a few others running a Pro-MAF.

I did that a while back, but it doesnt have the flow straightener built in and its metal. Im looking for a complete OEM solution so tip in is as good as possible etc...and the oem look btw.

    Thanks

If the pipework is straight 6" or more before the sensor you will be fine....

You won't gain anything with a larger MAF housing....unless this is just for visual?

I currently have a 4in MAF housing from C2, and I added a home made air flow straightener that works well...But I want the OEM unit to possibly re-engineer back into the engine bay along with the other reasons listed above. I have read HPA and a few others found a 4in MAF thats OEM Audi but cant verify yet. Im also thinking about going with a Pro-M MAF but cant get UM to answer any emails?

Does anyone have Jeffs ear at UM? I need a hookup.

    Thanks again to all.

George, I'm running a 4" OEM MAF but I'm unaware from which engine. It's stupid expensive though so I assume it's probably from the higher end of the range. Possibly a R8 or Gallardo perhaps? The MAF is buried in there on my car but I'll try and get you some info and confirm diameter by the weekend.
