Question: swap - DSG - mk6 or mk5 to mk4

We are considering replacement of our problematic 5-spd Tiptronic with a 6-spd DSG.

Might anyone have information on doing this?

If anyone has a good DSG available; how much?

A good start might be telling us what year/model your car is, what motor it currently has, any mods, etc.

Then folks here can tell you which DSG tranny may work for you, and how to go about it.

how about 2004 R32 whole DSG transmission upgrade to mk5 or mk6 if possible?

guiding points would be highly appreciative and less intruding if i mights say!

i only just came across your posting

actually, we have two of these cars and just had one automatic transmission completely rebuilt recently

while it runs great as we finally located a automatic transmission repair facility that knows these transmissions, we still are considering the DSG if it is possible for the other car

any related information would be appreciated
