I guess more problems with the car not the flash. I doubt it's any problem with UM
Yesterday at a show I decided to get the United Motorsports flash for the 1.8t. I'm having some issues with the car now and would greatly appreciate any and all help. The car pulls great to 4k rpm to which at that point it decides to fall flat. The car is boosting to 15 lbs and sticks at that. It doesn't spike or anything but it feels like somebody is pulling on the ebrake and the motor stops pulling. I was told the car would boost in the high teens and drop off to 14 lbs at redline. Car feels great up to that point, and it's consistent every time. At idle the cars vacumn is solid at 20. I'm not throwing any codes and granted in not a certified mechanic but it's got me baffled. I figured if it was a bad N75 selenoid or something a code would be thrown. Any help is much appreciated. Hopefully I get this worked out

    Setup specs

    2002 1.8t AWP 130,xxx miles
    Stock N75
Forge FMDV004 blow off valve. (picking up a DV this week)
    NGK BKR7E spark plugs
    Forge TIP (if it matters)
3" down pipe with cat delete and 3" magnaflow exhaust
    Stock side mount
Car ran fine before the flash

Took off the BOV and put an OEM 710N DV. Still no change

Swapped out N75 valves with a buddy. No change. Also change the coils. No change.

They said to bring it up and they would diagnose the problem, but I'm sure at an hourly charge. I'm holding good vacuum so I assumed no boost leaks. My next step is to take it and have it hooked up to a smoker. Maybe it's leaking just under boost. Kinda wierd that it sticks at 15 then starts popping. I figured if it had a leak it would go up to what it's supposed to then die off quick. Maybe I'll try to get a video this evening and post it up.
