Thread: Smelly garage

  1. 04-29-2012 04:54 PM #1
Whenever I get home from driving and pull into the garage, after about 10-20 mins ill go out to have a cigarette and I can smell something like exhaust fumes. Some days its stronger then others but I know it's coming from my car.

    20th anniversary
    Chip from ABT
(not sure if they offer diff stages)
    Otherwise stock.

    Any input is appreciated

not really a lot ot go off of, but if you close the garage afterwards there are fumes still exiting the exhaust, as well as any fluids that are on the motor burning off,etc while it cools down. i usually leave the garage open for a few minutes aftwards if i can.

check your PCV system (ie, valve is working and no split hoses), and look for any recent oil leaks. It doesn't take much.
