My adventures in finding a few parts for Wilda lately had me thinking this thread would be a good idea.

So! To all those going to Cincy this year.... post up what you're looking for, and what random carp you might want to get rid of!

    Looking for:
    - Speedo, or complete cluster. 160mph preferred, would 'settle' for 140mph part. (possibly getting one from Daun?)
    - throttle switches for a 16v. Will take electrically 'dead' switches - I really just need the operating lever for the idle switch.
    - Visor clips, in 'cloud white' (was it called?)
    - "321" chime (Audi PN 4A0 919 439)
    - 16v people: there's a bracket on the intake manifold for the A/C hoses. Mine is absent. Anyone who ditched A/C have that part?
    - Central locking pump. (this is actually for my Quantum; but, same part for lots of cars.)

Things I have (all are MkII parts):
    - 4-button steering wheel, in decent condition, w/ VW logo center cover.
    - 1 pair factory headlamp assemblies. Brackets are straight & rust-free, no broken adjusters.
    - tail lamp bulb trays
    - factory cassette tape holder
    - one or two spare oil temp gauges

Sorry, it's not much, I know. Haven't killed & stripped one yet...

Make offer for anything I have.

I have 2 pair of electric window door cards one for 16v and the other for 8v both with cloth inserts. Both pair need work but are structurally sound. Make offer.

I have mk1 heckblende that is broken but it can be fixed easily

I have another one and it's not in as good condition as the broken one if you ignore the fact that it's broken, it's a clean break and I'll include a tube of epoxy with it

Ok, will try to stuff it in the suitcase if it looks like it'll survive a trip through the airport. I did red needles and red lighting, and all the LEDs are red. See a pattern? Temp LED was a constant blink, otherwise in nice shape.

I have a few things, an unused generic blow off valve, some silicon hose pieces, some motor mounts that I think are for a MkIII (I will have to post the part numbers) and some other random stuff. More details when I get the chance to dig through the box. I will only bring them of someone asks because of potential customs hassles.

A few things I could bring to Cincy, if any interest beforehand:

Some brand new MK1 red rear side markers
A rust free MK2 door (I forgot which side) (Timbo?)
A clean, shiny, rust free tornado red 16V front fender (once again, don't remember which side)
A super clean tornado red MK2 hood with zero rust and excellent paint
    Some 8V airmeters
Freshly yellow zinc plated parts, such as: fuel filter brackets, coil brackets, freq valve brackets, alternator brackets, banjo bolts, etc.

Will do. For the 86 or the MK1? There are a couple of different fuel filter sizes. I'll try to bring a couple.

No prob on the side markers. The hood might not be what you're looking for if you're going to paint it a different color. I'm asking a premium price for it, because of the condition of the paint.
