I'll add myself to this list, needed for the S2 project:

    Plastic upper timing belt cover
    Timing hole plug
    Fan shroud (rust-free)
    Seat rail covers
    License light lenses
Dash (crack-free). Long shot, but what the hey

Maybe I can back a truck up to the barn when Daun isn't looking

Just the shroud, and if possible, rust-free.

I know most of them are covered with a layer of rust and are serviceable, but I already have one like that. I'm hoping to score one that I won't need to blast and refinish.

I pulled it out today to look at it, the clock has a small black spot in the corner. I have a picture of it. I'm not sure what they are worth? Make me an offer on it.

I also found a 16v scirocco 4 into 1 header with a flanged test pipe if anyone is interested in that. I will post up pics soon.

I have a Mk1 (early) amber side marker lens, FR. Very good condition. It is not sun- faded, nor spider-webbed, the white backing plastic is fully intact (inc clip).

    It's a beauty.

I bought when I was North... which I hope will explain why I bought it. It was cold as **** in Greenland and I apparently forgot that all my Mk1 are 'late' type (wrap-around FR turn signal) and thus don't need nor have anywhere to put an amber FR lens.

    "Doh!!"

I'd like to get what I paid. Price is $15 at Cincy; carefully packaged, you can look all you want but no groping without a deposit, and absolutely no goddamn ribbon & bow BS will be provided.

Pics on request, but gimme a couple of days; I have to find my camera and then (probably) recharge batteries.

Yeah, I don't know what they're worth, either (perhaps someone could chime in (or, maybe PM, if preferred?) with what they consider fair market value for a 16v MFA cluster is?

The dark spot in the display, though.... that worries me. That means the display is dying - that dark spot will get worse, until the display is completely black. :|

I make it a point in Life to be lacking such supplies. I figure it's all about the part, and ribbons and bows and such cr*p are just cosmetic noise.

And just to be clear, I'm not saying I have anything against lingerie.

And to be excruciatingly clear, "Lingerie" is defined as specifically excluding Neptuno in a wet black Duck T-shirt.

Does nothing for me Tony, and I think we can both be relieved about that.

Yeah, I figured that part out.....call it woman's intuition.

And on the topic of scary clothing, I have made a specific threat to a certain person regarding color matching his wardrobe to a certain car if he does not have one of his own to drive AGAIN this year. He HAD been counting on driving time in a turbocharged MkI, but nope, if it is just a one car convoy, we will be color matching 'urple. Even though I bought a green dress yesterday.

And for the record, a real green dress is NOT cruel. Just saying'.

I want a good obd1 aba block if someone could lug one to cincy,,,,,,please!

also need a good 16v alternator,

will trade a nice rocco 16v intake with a tps g60 throttlebody for turbo and silicone cuopler to 2" tube and has the cold start rail modified into a water injection rail for the block, fuel rail and injectors, for a good 1b1 block

also looking for a mk2 dash to try to rebuild, cracks fin as long as it's not warpped too bad.

I have lots of mk2 and 16v bits to trade or to just get out of my garage. gauge custers, lights, windshiled seal etc,

    I'll bring a trunk load
    '87 rocco ,ABA16VitbT, 9a pistons, dual exhaust cams, megasquirt v2.2 2-extra, E85,
volvo TD0-14T turbo, celica intercooler, corolla manifold, gsxr itbs, water injection, staged injection.

Sorry, I don't have one of those (I want one myself! But, those plans got kicked down the line... thanks, broken trans! )

Can you take a look at my 'things wanted' list (first post in the thread), and see if there's anything there that you have?
Cluster I'm ok on - getting one from Daun.

    Eric,

How "crack-free" would work for you? I have one crack-free but it is for Gino. I did aquire another that has only 3 cracks though. (It was actually in my truck when I offered you that wiperless rear glass the time I picked up the enging you gifted me.)

They are all around the vent directly in from of the steering wheel. Two are about 1.5 inches long coming from the vent toward the wheel and the other is about 1 inch around same vent going toward windshield.

Let me know and I could take a picture if you think it might suit your needs. Even has a 16V glove box door.

I have a rather nice XPORT adjustable bike carrier that attaches to the rear hatch. Fits two bikes nicely, rubber coated brackets for paint safety and foam to cushion the rack from where it rests on the car. First $10 takes it.

I'll be bringing out a few bins of parts. Mk1 lights, 160 mph cluster, intakes and fuel system, also have a set of strut tubes is anyone's interested. I can open them here to make life easy if there is interest.

One of my freinds (and yours) at GAP asked if I could sell a few parts for him.
    A 160mph speedo
CISe system complete and really clean.

I'll pick them up monday then take best offers at Cincy.

If anyone has a manual steering rack in decent shape (with or without tie-rod ends), I would be interested in buying!

On a related note, I'll have two inner/outer tie rods for a power rack for sale. Brand new, still sealed in packaging.

  29. 05-30-2012 02:53 AM #64
Looking for a complete top end for a PL motor. I need 16valve cylinder head, intake manifold, injectors, fuel rail, etc., etc. Or, if its easier, I could take the whole motor off your hands

My other option would be to pick up a complete 9A motor swap (ecu and wiring harness too)

Ive been looking for these parts for months now so that i might be able to get my first scirocco running in time for cincy, but it looks like thats not going to happen now

If someone could bring some these parts to cincy you would really make my day. I know its alot to haul with you, but im sure some of you have a spare motor or two just collecting dust, and just think, you would be helping me enter the wonderful world of Sciroccos
