    Does anyone know of a good roof rack setup for B4 Sedan? I want something like a MK3 Votex rack or even a roof basket, just dont know who makes one that fits properly
    7 Dubs later and they still call me crazy!!

    vw made them back in the day.n not too many sets up for sale. one or 2 come up for sale every 5 years.
    they go from 250 and up plus shipping for them.
    thule also makes one set-up but not as nice as the OEM.
    the OEM rack takes attachments like a mk4 car. they slide into the racks...

    I like that Saris rack, its lower profile which i like, I dont want something crazy tall, it reminds me alot of a yakima rack

    Not exactly sure what model but I'm borrowing my buddies thule with fairing and bike racks.

    I have Yakima SST towers, with Y clips, and Yakima crossbars. I love it low profile fits nice and tight, only problem is the sst towers were discontinue in 97, so finding one of those is pretty rare.... but before I got that I looked at the new Yakima Q towers, and they have fit kits to fit the passats and they are really nice racks too, but annoyingly u end up having to pa out the butt for them, mine as it sits with one bike tray cost me $100
