My door moulding doesn't like to stay clipped in despite trying to straighten it and its driving me nuts. My buddy found some good stick on stuff at Pep boys but they don't have any left and I can't find the same stuff online anywhere.

Does anyone have a good source for some good alternatives to the factory door trim/moulding?

Are you using original clips? Have you tried new ones?

I've heard of someone (briano1234 probably) drilling more holes in the door and using additional clips. I did not run into this issue myself but sounds like a good solution.

I doubt this is the issue that you were running into but i was having trouble with this

Yes I added 2 more factory clips to my door moulding, by drilling 2 additional holes. The issue is really that the door flex's too much, and you need to re-glue the Stiffener on to the door, or glue a stiffener to the inside of the door skin as close to the moulding line as you can. Liquid nails on a piece of wood or steel works well.

On my Green Cabby, they took off the factory moulding, and replaced it with 3m peel and stick, which looks ok.
Grounds, Grounds, Grounds Replace them things.
Divorces, Great Coffee, and Electrics, all start with GOOD Grounds.

    Where are my grounds ?

Yeah I replaced the clips with the ones from moogie on ebay.

Briano1234 what is the stiffener you're referring to?

A piece of steel, plastic or wood, that you glue to the inside of the door near the Trim line.
