    not sure if front R seats had that option, i think they did?

    R32 seats only came Heated. if you never had them hooked up, then that could be why, or someone if not you removed the heating elements. But if your Car, such as a GLI came with the option for heated seats, then its plug n play, otherwise ill have to wire them into the dash.

    this is a news to me... i never had chance to install them in my car... my last mk4 jetta wagon gl tdi i ad did not have the heated seat option so i wouldn't have even noticed it...

    i thought heated seats were an option on R32... anyhow... thanks for the info.

    now...someone come pick this up!

    Leather R32 seats came heated, the heaters are actually sewn into the covers with the foam and leather.

    I wish my seats still looked like that. I got so much cracking, I've given up on trying to keep them conditioned.
