LED tails and gloss black rear hatch emblem are being installed as I type this. More pics to come asap now that the exterior is nearly complete. I'll probably pick up the Euro black headlights sometime next month and then the exterior will finally be 100% finished!

Thanks man. Yeah the rear reflectors looked awful, it definitely helps complete the look for the back of the car. You should also do your third brake light while you're at it...cleans it up even more. I also smoked the clear lenses on the side mirrors and it turned out great.

I recommend ordering the rear reflectors from Lyle at Vinyl Styles www.vinylstyles.com
He'll sell you the complete pre-cut kit for only $45 shipped and everything fits perfect. The kit includes metallic black rear reflector covers, smoked LED DRL covers, smoked rear taillight covers (clear section only), and your choice of metallic black or smoked front sidemarker covers. The smoked side mirrors and third brake light were just something custom my buddy and I did, but you could ask to see if he has those pieces available now also.

Thanks for the kind words all. The exterior is just about finished...I plan on adding the euro black headlight housings sometime in the near future to complete the look.

Ordered the HPA core interlock motor mount today. Also, my downpipe from 42DD has shipped so things are finally progressing on the performance side of things.

Our cars are going to have a lot in common:
    1. DBP
    2. 2dr
    3. Loaded
    4. 42DD Downpipe
    5. HPA Dogbone Mount

I have ordered the BSH Intake and the Forge Twintercooler. I plan to do the United Motorsports Stage 2 Tune, once the HPFPupgrade pump arrives.

Is there any reason you opted for the twintercooler as opposed to the APR? I've been doing some research and can't decide if the dual setup would be more or less efficient than a single APR replacement unit. Unfortunately there's not a whole lot of technical data to go off of.

Been very busy lately so haven't had a chance to install all the parts I've been accumalting over the past few weeks. Here's what I plan on having done within the next week or so:

    - 42dd downpipe (catted/resonated)
    - EVOMS intake w/ heatshield
    - HPA motor mount
    - OEM dash cubby
    - 42dd stealth catch can
    - OEM Audi TT-S engine cover (on order from BKS Tuning)

And I'll be getting the GIAC flash done asap!

One reason I went with the Twintercooler was the group buy price. Second, it seems having a cooler out in front of everything else (a/c condenser) would be a good thing. More volume may take a split second longer to gain pressure, but it means the air is passing slower through the coolers which will give it more time to cool off. Also, ease of installation, although that is a smaller portion, but I try to do my own installs.

I don't really know the right answer though. This could be a mistake, but Forge seems to have a good reputation of delivering quality/functional products. I have never bought anything from them, but their customers seem to love them.

I'm in the Reno area and just picked up a CW 2012 Golf R.

Who did your 3M kit - I'm looking for a good recommended installer.
