Just got run off the road. Got back on it to go home, now my temp gauge is reading nothing, my gas gauge **** up to a full tank, and my temp light was screaming at me.

Did this guy hit you? or did you just swerve off and hit some rough patches?

check oil and coolant, make sure suspension isnt falling out. And make it home for the diagnostic.

Well oil and coolant are good, puddle of water under my car though. Temp gauge isn't working but temp light went off and smoke started coming through the air vents.

Now when putting my car in gear (auto) it takes a second, then shakes. Also, gas gauge isn't working now.

You've been waiting for over an hour now! WOW! My temp light flashes and beeps at me if my coolant level is low (my temp gauge currently doesn't work either, new thermostat is going in this upcoming weekend).

i was driving home one day on a four lane road 2 going each way, im in the right lane suv in the left i go to pull past the suv, and just as my nose reaches his passenger door he starts pulling hard into my lane i lay on the horn downshift and pull past the guy barely stayed in his lane, he tries to pull past avoiding eye contact i kept right next to him for the next mile and a half fukcin pricks

  20. 04-30-2012 10:42 PM #20
Cancelled the tow truck and called a friend. Finally got home:

after calming down at home I have replaced my temp sensor (did nothing) and coolant gushed out while doing so, so now I'm low on coolant. Neither my gas gauge or temp gauge are working, and upon further inspection I at least blew my dog bone mount, while giving my car some gas the motor moves a lot, I'm going to assume this is causing the rough shifting as well (blew a mount in my mazda and that happened) my main concern is my gauges not working.

anybody got some ideas as to why my temp and gas gauge arent working?

vag com test can rule out the cluster,
    maybe fuse

check in the dash, and on the battery.

My first thought would be the fuses, I'll check them in the daylight tomorrow after work. I don't know anyone locally with vag com, out of all my friends I'm the only one with a VAG car.

I'm looking at the fuse map, would that be the instrument cluster fuse I need to check?

    Harro?

This is very frustrating, I don't know anyone with a scanner, and I can't make it to the dealership. How could my temp and fuel gauge quit working just from getting run off the road?

I recently ripped my dogbone mount off and yea thats whats causing the rough shifting. It actually smashed my downpipe cause the whole engine kicks back when you give it gas. I had a puddle of "water" under my car too and it turned out to be that I smashed my AC compressor.
Replica wheels are like fake boobs. They look good on the outside, but when it comes to quality, Nothing beats the real thing.

Does the stealership charge to scan your car? What would be the name of the relay I need to check, I've been looking at diagrams since last night.

Sucks man. Glad you're okay, I probably would've let the ******* hit me though.

I found the sensor and it was fine, so still no idea what's causing my gas and temp gauges to not work. Checked all my fuses and they were fine too, although 2 of them had wires tied into them?
