    Hey all,

I finished the install of the latest revision diverter valve this weekend. The install went pretty smooth besides figuring out the hard way that there are 4 bolts on the housing but three for the valve-Anyways,I now notice the new valve is pretty loud. I remember the original was just barely audible when I first got the car, and I dont remember even hearing it before I switched it out. The new one is fairly loud though. It is significantly louder than the old one, but not as loud as an atmospheric blow off. Even my GF who knows nothing about cars notices it. Has anyone else noticed this after putting in the newest valve? It it normal?!? Car is completely stock!

The Rev D dv is a lot louder than your old diaphragm style valve. Its normal.

I noticed a sound difference also when I changed mine. At the time I was only APR Stage 1 but it was a great sound difference. But after installing an intake I no longer hear the DV since the Intake is just much louder.

As stated above you will hear a slight increase of noise.

Excellent. I bought the valve from ECS so I especially appreciate the response Andy.
